This visa is intended for situations where the required care cannot be reasonably provided by other family members or through Australian health or community services.
There are two visa options depending on where the application is made.

To qualify for a Carer Visa, the applicant must be willing and capable of providing continuous and significant care to the person in need
They must also be sponsored by an eligible relative in Australia
They must have a permanent medical condition that results in a functional impairment and demonstrate that they do not have reasonable access to care from other relatives or available services in Australia
As part of the process, an independent medical assessment is conducted through Bupa Medical Visa Services to confirm the level of care required
This visa grants permanent residency, allowing the holder to live in Australia indefinitely.
Applicants can include eligible family members in their application, making it a suitable option for those looking to relocate with their immediate family.
Another advantage is that there are no age restrictions for applicants, providing flexibility for individuals of different age groups.
