Mian Rafi has always been driven by a commitment to education and community leadership. During his academic journey, he was recognized for his excellence through a Bachelor of Science scholarship and was selected to serve as a Student Representative and a member of the Teaching and Learning Committee. His passion for helping others succeed led him to become a Student Mentor during his postgraduate studies, where he discovered his aptitude for guiding individuals through complex processes—a skill that now defines his work as a migration agent.

Prior to transitioning into migration law, Mian built a robust career in the technical sector. He worked as an RF Field Engineer for Teleresources (supporting Huawei and Optus projects) and provided critical support at the Melbourne Institute of Technology’s IT Department. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Telecommunication) and a Postgraduate Diploma of Networking from the Melbourne Institute of Technology, as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Australian Migration Law and Practice from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS).

Mian is a Registered Migration Agent with the Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority (OMARA). At 7 Stars Global Migration, he manages a diverse and complex caseload, ranging from Skilled and Employer-Sponsored migration to Family and Student visas. He is particularly adept at handling matters before the Administrative Review Tribunal (ART), where he prepares detailed written submissions to challenge visa refusals. His technical background allows him to interpret complex legislative criteria with the same precision he once applied to engineering systems.

In his spare time, Mian Rafi is an avid cricket fan and enjoys socializing with friends, family and clients. He remains a lifelong learner, often found studying the latest updates in migration laws and regulations to ensure his clients receive the most current advice. He is a family oriented, passionate and professional person who enjoys keeping up with the latest in information and technology.
